Electromagnetic disturbance risk: dangerous product alerts
6 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products with a electromagnetic disturbance hazard. The first dates from 15 February 2024, the latest from 1 June 2026. 67% were for products made in China, 17% were for products made in Türkiye and 17% were for products made in Estonia. The products flagged most are fairy lights and light chains (17%). 100% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 17% name an online marketplace, most often AliExpress, Amazon and eBay. The most common outcome was withdrawn from the market (83% of EU alerts); 0% included a measure ordered by an authority.
