Cdiscount Toys recall list
11 EU Safety Gate alerts concern toys sold on Cdiscount. The first dates from 21 March 2024, the latest from 7 September 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 4, down from 5 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are choking (45%), strangulation (27%) and entrapment (18%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (45%), fingers, limbs or head can be trapped (27%) and sharp edges or points (18%). 82% were for products made in China, 9% were for products made in Philippines and 9% were for products made in Hong Kong. The most common outcome was recalled from consumers (73% of EU alerts); 9% included a measure ordered by an authority. The EU alerts were notified most often by the authorities of France (91%) and Poland (9%). Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lead.
