5 EU Safety Gate alerts concern toys sold on Otto. The first dates from 15 July 2025, the latest from 22 July 2026. The hazards named most often are choking (40%), chemical (40%) and injuries (20%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (40%), restricted chemical above the legal limit (40%) and breaks or collapses (20%). 60% were for products made in China and 20% were for products made in Germany. The most common outcome was recalled from consumers (60% of EU alerts); 0% included a measure ordered by an authority. The EU alerts were notified most often by the authorities of Germany (100%).
