12 EU Safety Gate alerts concern jewellery sold on Temu. The first dates from 27 August 2024, the latest from 19 January 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 3, down from 5 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are chemical (100%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are restricted chemical above the legal limit (100%). 100% were for products made in China. The most common outcome was removed from online marketplace (83% of EU alerts); 8% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include cadmium, lead and nickel.
