Pop Mart (COUNTERFEIT): recalls and official safety alerts

19 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products recorded under the brand Pop Mart (COUNTERFEIT). The first dates from 23 September 2025, the latest from 3 June 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 18, up from 1 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are choking (74%) and chemical (37%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (74%) and restricted chemical above the legal limit (37%). 63% were for products made in China. The products flagged most are soft toys and plush (95%). 42% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 16% name an online marketplace, most often Temu, Shein and AliExpress. The most common outcome was recalled from consumers (79% of EU alerts); 26% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include phthalates.
