36 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products with a other hazard. The first dates from 23 January 2020, the latest from 18 March 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 2, down from 6 in the four quarters before. Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are restricted chemical above the legal limit (44%), too flammable (22%) and breaks or collapses (19%). 44% were for products made in China and 22% were for products made in Netherlands. The products flagged most are necklaces, bracelets and rings (17%), baby sleeping bags, cots and nests (8%) and e-cigarettes and vapes (6%). 39% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 6% name an online marketplace, most often Amazon. The most common outcome was withdrawn from the market (53% of EU alerts); 42% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lead, phthalates and nitrosamines.
