Dangerous products made in Slovenia

20 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products made in Slovenia. The first dates from 22 November 2021, the latest from 6 August 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 6, down from 7 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are injuries (65%), chemical (30%) and strangulation (20%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are ingredient not allowed in cosmetics (25%), cords or drawstrings can strangle (15%) and restricted chemical above the legal limit (5%). The products flagged most are hair dye (10%), creams and lotions (5%) and tattoo ink (5%). 15% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 5% name an online marketplace, most often Amazon. The most common outcome was recalled from consumers (65% of EU alerts); 50% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lilial (BMHCA) and lead.
