Amazon Construction products recall list
5 EU Safety Gate alerts concern construction products sold on Amazon. The first dates from 2 June 2025, the latest from 5 December 2025. The hazards named most often are asphyxiation (80%), fire (80%) and chemical (20%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are alarm or detector does not work (80%) and restricted chemical above the legal limit (20%). 80% were for products made in China and 20% were for products made in Morocco. The most common outcome was removed from online marketplace (100% of EU alerts); 0% included a measure ordered by an authority. The EU alerts were notified most often by the authorities of France (100%). Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lead.
