Bol Toys recall list
26 EU Safety Gate alerts concern toys sold on Bol. The first dates from 12 November 2020, the latest from 1 October 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 6, up from 2 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are choking (62%), injuries (35%) and strangulation (8%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (62%), small magnets can be swallowed (31%) and restricted chemical above the legal limit (12%). 73% were for products made in China, 8% were for products made in Belgium and 4% were for products made in Poland. The most common outcome was recalled from consumers (65% of EU alerts); 35% included a measure ordered by an authority. The EU alerts were notified most often by the authorities of Netherlands (73%) and Belgium (27%).
