12 official alerts and recalls concern other sold on Temu: 3 from EU Safety Gate and 9 from US CPSC. The first dates from 11 July 2024, the latest from 17 September 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 8, up from 3 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are injuries (58%), other health risk (17%) and burns (17%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are too flammable (17%), overheats, melts or short-circuits (8%) and small magnets can be swallowed (8%). 92% were for products made in China and 8% were for products made in Vietnam. The most common outcome was removed from online marketplace (100% of EU alerts); 0% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include phthalates.
