TikTok Shop Toys recall list
21 EU Safety Gate alerts concern toys sold on TikTok Shop. The first dates from 30 October 2025, the latest from 24 September 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 21, up from 0 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are choking (71%), chemical (24%) and damage to sight (14%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (81%), button cells or batteries are accessible (24%) and laser, UV or light too strong (14%). 95% were for products made in China and 5% were for products made in Singapore. The most common outcome was removed from online marketplace (95% of EU alerts); 5% included a measure ordered by an authority.
