Stationery: recall list and dangerous-product alerts

29 EU Safety Gate alerts concern stationery. The first dates from 29 January 2021, the latest from 23 April 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 5, down from 8 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are chemical (76%), choking (17%) and environment (10%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are restricted chemical above the legal limit (86%), small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (10%) and allergen not declared on the label (3%). 72% were for products made in China, 3% were for products made in Germany and 3% were for products made in Greece. 38% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 17% name an online marketplace, most often Amazon, Temu and AliExpress. The most common outcome was withdrawn from the market (41% of EU alerts); 59% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include phthalates, short-chain chlorinated paraffins and lead.
