40 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products made in Morocco. The first dates from 14 May 2020, the latest from 4 November 2025. The hazards named most often are chemical (72%), injuries (18%) and fire (8%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are ingredient not allowed in cosmetics (70%), restricted chemical above the legal limit (5%) and small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (2%). The products flagged most are perfume and eau de toilette (68%) and rattles and baby toys (2%). 2% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 2% name an online marketplace, most often Amazon. The most common outcome was sales ban (60% of EU alerts); 72% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lilial (BMHCA) and lead.
