16 official alerts and recalls concern childcare articles sold on Wish: 14 from EU Safety Gate and 2 from US CPSC. The first dates from 11 December 2020, the latest from 8 July 2026. The hazards named most often are chemical (31%), choking (25%) and suffocation (12%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are restricted chemical above the legal limit (44%), small parts or stuffing can be swallowed (25%) and overheats, melts or short-circuits (12%). 75% were for products made in China and 6% were for products made in Lithuania. The most common outcome was removed from online marketplace (86% of EU alerts); 7% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include bisphenol A, lead and phthalates.
