DENIM: recalls and official safety alerts

22 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products recorded under the brand DENIM. The first dates from 16 May 2023, the latest from 23 October 2025. In the last four complete quarters there were 1, down from 11 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are chemical (100%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are ingredient not allowed in cosmetics (100%). 73% were for products made in Italy and 9% were for products made in Switzerland. The products flagged most are perfume and eau de toilette (59%), shampoo, shower gel and soap (18%) and deodorant (14%). 0% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 0% name an online marketplace. The most common outcome was sales ban (82% of EU alerts); 100% included a measure ordered by an authority. The EU alerts were notified most often by the authorities of Italy (86%) and Czechia (14%). Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lilial (BMHCA).
