Police: recalls and official safety alerts
13 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products recorded under the brand Police. The first dates from 17 August 2022, the latest from 10 March 2026. The hazards named most often are chemical (100%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are ingredient not allowed in cosmetics (85%) and restricted chemical above the legal limit (15%). 85% were for products made in Italy and 8% were for products made in China. The products flagged most are perfume and eau de toilette (46%), shampoo, shower gel and soap (15%) and necklaces, bracelets and rings (8%). 8% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 0% name an online marketplace. The most common outcome was sales ban (77% of EU alerts); 92% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lilial (BMHCA) and phthalates.
