Garnier: recalls and official safety alerts

51 EU Safety Gate alerts concern products recorded under the brand Garnier. The first dates from 15 January 2021, the latest from 12 May 2026. In the last four complete quarters there were 5, down from 8 in the four quarters before. The hazards named most often are chemical (100%). Read from the official risk descriptions, the most common reasons are ingredient not allowed in cosmetics (98%). 76% were for products made in France, 6% were for products made in Greece and 4% were for products made in Italy. The products flagged most are shampoo, shower gel and soap (59%), hair dye (16%) and creams and lotions (10%). 0% of the EU alerts were marked as sold online, and 0% name an online marketplace. The most common outcome was sales ban (90% of EU alerts); 98% included a measure ordered by an authority. Chemicals named in the official risk descriptions include lilial (BMHCA).
